Secrets of Kaplan are an alternative rock 3-piece from Leeds, UK, predominantly influenced by music from the 90’s and early 00’s. SoK was formed in 2009, and is made up of Damien Selby (guitar/vox), Gareth Kent (bass) and Ben Hirst (drums).

The band’s name derives from the Alfred Hitchcock film “North by Northwest” in which one of the characters (Thornhill) is mistaken by a gang of spies, who believe he is a CIA agent called Kaplan.

The band have a 4 track EP, available as a pay what you want digital download, or as a limited edition CD from the SOK shop.. The band are currently playing live around the north of the country, and promoting their latest EP.
